A long-time resident of Orlando, Kelly is a Florida native with many years of experience working in the Central Florida community. Kelly has a bachelor of science from Florida State University and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College. Kelly was drawn to pursue her desire to help others through therapy for personal reasons that compelled her to do so. Kelly is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and an active advocate. She has studied and is trained in areas such as multicultural counseling, crisis intervention, career and lifestyle counseling, social justice and human sexuality . Kelly’s counseling pre-practicum studies were fulfilled at New Hope for Kids and Zebra Coalition. She is a member of the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida, Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, American Counseling Association and has studied Baker Act & Suicide Prevention Training and Psychological First Aid Training. She graduated in Spring 2020 and has been with Agape since Fall 2018.
Kelly started her career as a sales and marketing representative for the Olympic Games. Continuing her experience in the marketing profession, Kelly became the assistant director of marketing for three professional sports franchises for several years. Kelly was also the vice president of brand management and marketing at two privately held investment companies where she developed, implemented and enforced brand strategy and integration for a portfolio of companies in various sectors, such as finance, sports, restaurants, life sciences and real estate. Kelly is the CMO and principal of a marketing agency.
Kelly cares deeply about our community, serving for various boards, committees, and volunteer organizations, including the onePULSE Foundation Executive Board of Trustees, past Brand Committee Chair for Orlando Economic Partnership Board of Directors, and past board chairman for UCP of Central Florida. She is also a wife and mother to a blended family of four amazing kids. In her free time, Kelly likes to travel, exercise, bond with friends and family, and watch sporting events and documentaries.
